Yes. On monthly plans, upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Maintain, Protect and Perform cancel with 30 days' notice. Partner is a 12-month commitment, billed monthly, so a change of tier is discussed at renewal.

If you cancel, your site stays yours and keeps running on the same standard WordPress foundation. Some tiers include premium plugins. You can switch to the free version of a plugin or buy your own licence. Hosting can stay with us whether or not you have a care plan. If you move off us entirely, we give you a personalized guide with a snapshot of your site as it is now, showing what each plugin is for, so you can manage it yourself or hand it to your new agency.

Yes, once I’ve looked at your site. Start with the form at the top of this page. Sites with extensive custom code start with an evaluation. After that, we quote a customized package built around what your site needs, or I tell you if a rebuild would cost less. We don't take on sites with problematic hosting or severe security compromises. Partner is available only for Clarity-built websites.

Hosting is optional on Maintain and Protect, at $25 a month or $295 a year. It is included with Perform and Partner because performance optimization needs control of the server environment.

An edit is a change to what is already on your site: text and images on any page, banners, headers and footers, plugin settings, styling and CSS tweaks, blog posts, formatting a landing page, coupon codes and shopping cart updates.

Publishing content you’ve written counts too: blog posts, newsletters, event listings, reports and meeting minutes. You send the words; my team formats and publishes them.

Building something new or writing it for you is not an edit. New pages built from a design, custom code, new plugins or themes, graphic design and content creation sit outside it. Those are VIP Day work, and I will tell you which side of the line a request falls on before anything gets billed.

Unlimited edits are included from Protect up, including new content on existing pages. You can email requests any time, any day of the year, with no hourly limit. Simple edits are resolved within 24 to 48 hours. Bigger or more complex tasks can take a little longer, depending on what is needed. Maintain does not include edits. Maintain clients pay a discounted rate of $195 an hour, against our standard agency rate of $295.

Care plans are WordPress-only. If you are on another platform, I am happy to consult, but we do not offer maintenance for it. We are not an IT desk, but we can often help with email configuration and MX record updates.

Uptime monitoring tells us when your site goes down, and cloud backups run 4 times a day, so there is always a recent copy to restore from. Every care plan includes 24/7 emergency support.

No website is ever 100% issue-free, but we stand by our work. Our promise is to build you a site that is reliable and clear, designed for long-term success. If something goes sideways, we are here to help. This is a partnership, not a handoff.

Perform gives you full technical optimization and support when you need it. Partner adds the strategic layer: written analysis and recorded walkthroughs 2 to 3 times a year, a check on how your site is holding up for people using it in different ways, an annual comprehensive review, edit requests reviewed and scoped before work starts, 1 business day response on judgment calls, and drift flagged before it costs you.

Not always. Care plans maintain what is already working. They do not fix a site whose structure, copy or strategy is the real problem. If your site is losing referrals because the message no longer fits, or because it is slow and clunky in ways that updates cannot address, a website rebuild is likely the better starting point. I’ll tell you which one fits when I review your request.
