FAQ
What if my site is already broken?
We’ll take a look and assess, and give our best estimate as to what needs to be done and how long it will take to fix. Request an Evaluation today.
I'm not on WordPress. Can I still sign up?
Our Care & Maintenance Package applies to WordPress clients only. Shopify clients can contact us directly to discuss customized options.
What's the process?
We’ll collect the access information we need for your site and run a preliminary evaluation. If it’s been a long time or there are significant updates required, we’ll contact you with any additional setup requirements.
How do I send in an edit?
Send us an email and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours. The edits covered by your maintenance package are included in our list above.
Who cares about backups?
Only someone who’s never had a problem will ask this question! We back up your site daily and store backups on and off-site for 90 days, so we can get you back up and running as quickly as possible if something happens.
What if my site has been hacked?
If you’ve already noticed a problem, get in touch with your service provider FIRST, and don’t put it off. The longer you wait, the more likely your website will be blacklisted and it will be even harder to get back online. If you are already one of our Maintenance clients, we can help with this.
My website needs an overhaul.

Does the monthly fee include hosting?
No. Your hosting fee is an annual cost to your web host, and is not included in maintenance.
Does maintenance include help with my email?
We are not an IT help desk but if we can help, we will. If you need assistance with email configuration, we may be able to help with this.
Do you offer a guarantee?
As with any technology, we cannot guarantee a problem-free website. We want to help and support you throughout your business career, so we do our best to ensure that what you have is working as expected. And we keep reliable backups in case they’re needed.
How do I cancel my Maintenance Plan?
You can cancel anytime by emailing hello@claritywebdesign.ca.
