Website Rebuilds

You’ve spent years building a reputation. Your site should carry it.

Rebuild your website so more of the right people get in touch.

You're already paying to get in front of people. Your website decides what that's worth.

Before you spend more on conferences, ads, podcasts or a shiny new content strategy, make sure your site is worth the traffic it already gets.

Someone looks you up. What they find either confirms what they heard or undoes it.

Your site is ready for a rebuild if:

  • You hesitate before sending someone your own link
  • You’ve changed your services, pricing or positioning, and the site hasn’t followed
  • You end up explaining what you do on every call, even after they’ve seen your site
  • You keep adding content, but your site isn’t turning visits into inquiries

Not sure it’s worth it yet? The website calculator shows what waiting is costing you.

Think of your business as a stool. Your brand is the seat. The legs are how clients find you: speaking, email, social media, ads, referrals and your website. Most of your effort goes into the other legs, but every one of them sends people to the website, so when it’s weak, they all carry less.

I don’t build the other legs. I make sure the website isn’t the one that gives.

What a rebuild really is

Before

It looks like a quick update. Underneath, it’s usually:

  • Offers and pricing that moved on while the site didn’t
  • A message that undersells the reputation you’ve built
  • Visitors who can’t tell quickly whether you’re right for them
  • Friction: slow pages, long forms, a next step nobody can find

What you see in the browser is only the symptom.

After

Your best images and words, rebuilt into:

  • A site that’s fast on any device and easy to keep current
  • A site that’s easier to find, understand and choose, for people and search engines
  • Only what serves your visitors, nothing that just sounds impressive
  • Search groundwork laid before launch, so what your site has earned carries over

Featured example

It looked the same. It worked differently.

When I rebuilt Debbie Shawn’s site, it looked much the same afterward. The structure underneath was different. In the 90 days after launch, her organic search traffic went from 77 visitors to 409.

What changed after launch.

From each client’s own analytics. The starting number is always shown.

“We want to be more like Nordstrom’s, not like Walmart. You walk around Nordstrom’s and you don’t feel crowded. There’s space. You can find what you need.”

Strategic rebuilds that meet you where you are, and get you where you're going.

For established consultants and specialist practitioners whose businesses have outgrown their websites. This isn’t another marketing line item. It sits underneath the marketing you’re already paying for. Weigh it against what you spend each year getting in front of people, not against what a website usually costs.

  • Foundation

    From $11,500

    6 to 8 weeks

For a business that has outgrown a simple site, with copy worth refining. Includes a first draft of your copy, built from your existing content and your Blueprint, and 1 month of Maintain care.

  • Signature Experience

    Custom quote

    10 to 14 weeks

For founders rebuilding the brand as well as the site. Bespoke identity work, advanced integrations, 3 months of Perform care, and a strategic relationship from day one.

Prices are the same figure in Canadian and US dollars.

I map every page on your old site to its new one before launch, so links people saved keep working and the pages search engines already know keep their place. A rebuild shouldn’t cost you the ground your site has already earned.

Inclusive design, built in

Every site is planned with inclusive and universal design and built to WCAG 2.2 AA. I hold the CPACC, the professional certification in accessibility core competencies. It is the kind of credential usually put to work inside big institutions, and I am one of very few bringing that rigour to boutique sites for businesses like yours.

Almost 96%

of websites fail basic accessibility testing (WebAIM, 2026). Getting it right puts you ahead of most of the businesses competing for the same clients.

I’ll tell you what to leave out.

Less, on purpose.

The hardest calls on a website are about what to leave out. A lot of what I do is telling clients which of their good ideas will make the site worse.

What this costs you in time.

Under 2 hours.

Under 2 hours of your time for Foundation, under 4 for Presence and under 6 for Signature. Then you review drafts in 3 rounds. You don’t write the copy or manage the launch.

You’re not locked to me.

Yours to keep.

Your site is built on standard WordPress, documented and handed over. If you ever move on, any good developer can pick it up.

From clients who've been there.

“The website now reflects me, and my business. It’s simple, fast and includes only the components that are necessary… I didn’t feel taken over, I felt taken care of.”

Kathy Whitewood

REALTOR®, Nova Scotia

“I’m not a tech person and felt too mired in my info to be able to step back and write good copy… when I had a thought/idea and wrote a sample of copy, you were able to come back with a polished product that was exactly what I was looking for.”

Kelly Davison

“I now feel confident sharing my site with new prospects… In the first month alone, the number of visitors from search nearly doubled.”

Who you’ll work with

Steph Walker, CPACC

I’ve been building websites since 2010, and I lead every rebuild from the first working session to launch. A small team of women in tech brings in professional copywriting and design where your tier calls for it.

When a project falls outside what I can deliver well, I say so before we start.

How it works

Step 1

Positioning and discovery.

Your Blueprint and a 60-minute working session. Both fit inside the time estimate for your tier.

Step 2

Homepage preview.

I build your homepage first, so a wrong direction shows up here, not at launch.

Step 3

Build and approval.

Messaging, layout and visuals approved before I build out the rest.

Step 4

Launch.

I handle the launch end to end, including the domain and hosting move. Then your support period and care plan begin.

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms do you work with?

I build on WordPress, and every rebuild tier is designed for it. If your site is on Shopify, Squarespace, Wix or another platform, get in touch and we will talk through whether a WordPress rebuild makes sense for your business, or whether someone else is a better fit.

What about hosting?

Your first year of premium SiteGround Cloud hosting is included in the build, so your site runs on current PHP and stays fast. After the first year, hosting is $25 a month or $295 for the year on Maintain and Protect, and it is included with Perform and Partner. If your hosting is elsewhere, we will talk through the move on your Clarity Call.

How do I know which tier is right for me, or if I need extra pages?

That is what the Clarity Call is for. We look at where you are and where you want to go, and I recommend the best fit based on your goals, timeline and budget.

Foundation covers up to 5 pages and Presence up to 6. Anything beyond that is quoted after the call, so you know the number before you start. The 5 standard pages are home, about, services, contact and one chosen for your business. Most people arrive with a longer list than they leave with, and that conversation is usually worth more than the extra pages would have been.

What does “built to WCAG 2.2 AA” mean?

WCAG is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, the international standard for websites that people with disabilities can use. 2.2 is the current version, and AA is the level that accessibility rules most often name. In practice it covers things like text that is easy to read against its background, a site you can use with a keyboard alone, descriptions for images, and forms that tell you what went wrong.

Building to WCAG 2.2 AA is how I work on every site. I do not certify that a finished site conforms, because that takes an independent audit of the finished site.

How long does a rebuild take?

Foundation: 6 to 8 weeks. Presence: 8 to 10 weeks. Signature: 10 to 14 weeks.

Timeline depends on how quickly your content and assets are ready and how many rounds of revisions we need. I confirm your specific timeline once your project is scoped.

How does payment work?

In 3 parts: 60% to begin, 20% when you approve your homepage preview, and the final 20% before launch. Your site goes live once the final payment is in.

What do you need from me?

Very little. Collaborator access to your website and accounts (never your own passwords), your logo, images and existing content, and your input at the review stages. You stay in the loop without having to manage the tech. I handle that part.

Is SEO included?

Foundation includes on-page SEO: page titles, meta descriptions, headings and alt text on your images. It also includes a fast site and every old page mapped to its new one, so what your site has already earned in search carries over.

Analytics is set up during the build, so from launch day you can see what the site is doing. Presence adds schema, keyword and keyphrase research, Search Console and a custom reporting view. Ongoing search strategy is the quarterly deep dive on the Partner plan.

What about post-launch support?

Every rebuild includes 30 days of post-launch support plus a bundled care plan. Foundation includes 1 month of Maintain. Presence includes 3 months of Protect. Signature includes 3 months of Perform.

Your analytics is set up during the build, so your first report arrives instead of a login you never open. After the bundled period, you can continue with a care plan or manage things on your own. If you want ongoing support in place from day one, we can scope it together on your Clarity Call.

Which accessibility rules apply to my website?

Most people don't know their website carries any exposure here, and it follows where you sell, not where you're based. That catches a lot of Canadian businesses with US clients by surprise. Which rules apply depends on where you operate and who you serve, and I am not a lawyer.

Every province is different, and so is every state and country. We go over your situation on the Clarity Call.
